"Run 8 n' sand", as they say. The steady throb of 2 stroke 16-645s grows into a roar as NS P61 climbs the grade with a massive train in tow.

After cresting the hill at Five Row, NS P61 notches down and prepares to diverge onto the S-line toward Asheville, passing a tied-down 66E ethanol train in the Old Spencer yard.

P61 roars up the hill with a rather ragged looking SD40-2 leader.

After meeting a northbound NS SD40-2 3415 throttles up leading 133 south from Bowen as it heads down the 2nd District of the CNO&TP.
